‘Brain-training’ game found to improve memory in people with early memory problems Maintaining an active mind as we age has previously been linked to a reduced risk of dementia and some improvements in people’s memory ability . In this new study, a team at the University of Cambridge have created a cognitive brain training game, and tested whether the game could be beneficial for people with early memory problems, known as amnesic mild cognitive impairment (aMCI). People with aMCI have memory and thinking problems that may be starting to interfere with day-to-day life but aren’t severe enough to be categorised as dementia. Not everyone with aMCI goes on to develop dementia but they are at a much higher risk. source: https://www.alzheimersresearchuk.org/ Why Memory Games Are Essential for Children’s Development : The Benefits Explained - Children’s memory games not only provide entertainment and promote healthy competition but also aid in the intellectual growth of young minds. - Children that regularly engage in memory games demonstrate improved skills in pattern recognition and the ability to conceptualize information presented in the form of images, maps, and objects. - Their brains will be wired to respond more quickly and sensitively to the visuals they encounter on screens if they are given opportunities to actively engage with such images on a regular basis. - Training the brain in this way over time is beneficial to its expansion and maturation. In addition, children’s memory can be enhanced through the use of memory games because they will not feel confined or forced. source: https://skoolofcode.us/ ENJOY THIS MEMORY MATCH GAME !!
